Dialed-in: Adj, English, to know something at its fundamental level and execute it perfectly, constantly remaining flexible and open for improvement to take "it" to the next level.
Use in a sentence: That dude is dialed-in.
Running a small business as a side venture is no small task. And as each day passes, you are forced to sharpen your saw for the next day... reflecting on what you were burnt on while tenaciously preparing for the next day's adventure. My brother left his corporate job to help take our little venture to the next level, and through his hard work, coined the phrase "Dialed-in". He coined this phrase specifically because of his baptism by fire birth on the small business scene. After realizing that this venture was going to take every ounce of his focus and heart, he was forced to do some self reflection/realization. In doing so, he came to the conclusion that he was "Undialed in". With change as his motivator and fire in his heart, he took his organization and focus to the next level with the single goal of getting "Dialed-in". Three weeks and a half of a nervous breakdown later, Brian Christopher Vetter climbed an oak tree in our community and screamed "Hooodyhoooo, this mother fucker is Dialed-in!" . After coming down from the tree, the definition of Dialed-in was explained to me...and that moment is written down as the second time I opened my eyes for the first time. At THE "dialed-in moment", my world became divided in two. Dialed-in and Undialed-in. I instantly viewed the world completely different and have continued to do so. I became... enlightened. I realized in business and in life, you can literally put people into these two categories. They either plan intelligently and appropriately or they dont. They either know their craft like the back of their hand or they dont. They either attack each day like it's their last or they waste it. I consider myself "Dialed-in" but took the definition of being "Dialed-in" to the streets to make sure I was doing it 100% in every aspect of my life. I did this for one reason and one reason only... You can not be "Dialed-in" in one aspect of your life and be "Undialed-in" in another. It just doesnt work that way. To reach true success in your personal and professional life, otherwise known as "perfect balance", you have to be dialed-in in EVERYTHING! So I post this dare: Try being "Dialed-in" for one day, in everything you do, and let me know how it feels...I guarantee you never go back to half-ass.

My home smells of rich mahogany and leather bound books
"The green grow and the ripe rot"
As your evolution in life and business continues, you are going to get bombarded with advice, suggestions, and "the best way" to literally do everything ...but what if none of the methods that are forced down your throat are correct for you... and what if there is a better way? Being a student of the game, I became curious on how the best got where they did and how to create my own path. After boss after boss forced "there way" on me...and after realizing that there way was shit...I decided it was time to implement my 1/3 nerd. I decided the only way to be the best, was to submerse myself in "the game" and teach myself along the way. I now read, on average, 1 book a week. Every free moment I have I am working on those books like its my job, and because of my reading, I have more written under the "ideas" portion of my daily lists than I have ever had! These magical texts, or "books" for the commoner, help me sharpen my saw and gain perspective on the paths previously taken to success. With every new book I read, I understand more and more peoples views, improve my ability to empathize, sharpen my saw with new methods of organization, and in turn, I gain momentum on my path to success. SO GO READ BIOTCH! Current Book Reading: When Pride Still Mattered: A Life of Vince Lombardi
